Utah Textures - Photos & Paintings
by Danuta Kania
I was born in Warsaw, Poland. I  pursued career in urban planning.  Since 1980, I live in
suburbs of  Chicago, Illinois, and currently work as an administrator at Roosevelt
University.  The dream of painting became real in the United States where the
opportunities of taking art classes presented themselves.  I have completed several
semesters of oil painting, figure drawing, ceramics, web page design, and digital
photography as a student at-large at local Universities.  Shortly after coming to the United
States I discovered that any place having "National Park" or "Monument" in title is a "must
see" place.   The memories of the beauty of these places pleasantly hunt me all year
round, that is until vacation comes again.  Every year, I drive 5000 -7000 miles selecting
the smallest roads possible in order to see all the hidden places.  I visited nearly all
National Parks in USA and many in Canada, some of them several times, but no matter
where I go the state of Utah always calling me back...

I dedicate this site to my daughters:  Ania and Beata.  They are my pride, joy and true
love...
